Origin: A native of tropical South America, this evergreen tree bears fragrant yellow trumpet-shaped flowers. The seeds and fruit are highly poisonous. This flower’s scent is reminiscent of roses.

Traditional herbal uses: Ancient Egyptians and Romans first used plants like yellow oleander containing cardiac glycosides to induce vomiting and for heart ailments.

Energetic properties:
-Loosens “knots” in the stomach

This flower looks like a cross between a tea rose and a daffodil, with a somewhat rosy smell. I had returned to garden particularly for this essence and it was every bit as delicious as I remembered.
